Only about 2 months overdue, dry fit, to make sure everything fits. Bimo was testing me by swapping pages 7 and 11 :)

Finished painting my Spitfire tonight,I really like how this war bird turned out.I can all ready tell it's going to be a great plane to fly,I just need the field to dry up a bit,I would probably sink up to my knees in mud right now.hoping for the end of the week for her maiden.

Awesome work, i crashed my first ft spitfire into a tree and built a replacement, they just look so pretty and fly ever so gracefully. :)

The maiden for Hybrid I was ok, but Hybrid II was fantastic.
I do need to add flaps, she just wants to stay in the sky and fly fast.

So actually what I'm finishing today as in "Makin purdy"
Prepping for paint using the method of oil based satin urethane first and then the acrylic paint. I use cheapo foam board for all my builds. I usually take the paper off so paint isn't an issue, but the paper is on this one so to add paint I'm trying this method. I'll post a finished livery for my Arrocuda when completed

Been a while coming but finally built my modified FT Spitfire. Quite a few changes required when using depron for strength and removing flex but with carbon and lite ply it's come out OK. Also print shop scaled it up to A0 from the original size so rather than 42.5" span it's 49.2".
721g AUW so let's see when the weather allows a maiden shall we...

04 RAF Invasion scheme to make it look look like a de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito. That would be my choice. :)
