When we want to get rid of snow in the UK we just build a sledge and the snow suddenly melts away.

After a nasty crash last year, the Su-34 is finally back up to strength, now carrying a new four-bladed prop and active rudders! Looking forward to getting back into the air at last.

    That looks fantastic!

I'd definitely be interested in seeing the flight characteristics too with the airfoil wing and scale like features :)

My maiden flite was great with my first one so I continued with it adding mods.I formed the fuse by heating and forming but it will be made with score and fold lines for easier construction for all to be able to buid it easily.

I've been mulling over a smoke system for my hawk. Not tried the powder approach yet so will watch with interest...

  13. You might have to video record this process, sounds interesting. :)

In my head Im thinking a 2 or 3 inch piece of straw glued shut at one end and a screan on the back end,and then small air intake holes for air to push the powder out, hopefuly a little at a time.

  16. Ground up charcoal or pencil lead just came to mind.

Or potassium nitrate, potassium permanganate and some aluminium powder. Small source of ignition and you've got flares :D

Might not treat the foam so well though...

  18. So a little ignition midflight could add some excitement. :D
