Built the SU-27 V5 (My favorite parkjet) and a Lil Ripper to start learning some 3d flying.

On the store bought side I also just put together the Durafly F-28 V2 which is my first airplane with retracts (and a dive brake!!).

Looking forward to spring to get flying again.

  2. NOTHING, winter put it's foot down and gave spring the boot so I started a different project. .

Woah, that looks awesome, wilsonair! The F15 is one of the best all around parkjets out there. Very maneuverable and stable at the same time. Hope you enjoy it!

I finished my Drongo Yesterday. Plans by Marcel (vleisie on rcgroups).
    Modifications from the original:
    85% Scale
    KFm2 Airfoil

Should have some good weather on Monday. Hopefully I will get a chance to maiden it then.

Thank you F1wanabe, hope it flies as good as it looks, keep designing planes.

  6. I finally finished (sort of) 3 planes today.

    1) RCP Mig-29
    2) FRC Mig-29
    3) Mako

    IMG_8827.JPG

Mako plane calls for adding struts/supports - So I 3d printed the adapters to hold them perfectly at 45 degrees.

Finally got around to adding some area to my Redaqs' rudder, it's been asking since the maiden. Still needs final shaping.

Just finished this slofly28. Plans from sparkflyers website. Haven’t flown it yet but it should be a gentle flyer D9686957-AD72-48D5-A321-7278116888C6.jpeg

That's a nice job. Love the shading on the canopy.

Thanks Peter, I'm just getting to know my airbrush and having so much fun playing around with it. The combination of easy build foamies and a good working airbrush are making me want to build more and try new things.

I finished up my second KCM Racewing. It's a clone of the FliteTest Arrow, but designed for ModelPlaneFoam and uses wing ribs instead of a box spar. The ribs made for a nice effect for the LEDs I put in it for night flying.

Finished a Vagabond XL 3D aerobatic slope glider from Hacker, 2 m wingspan, an ARF (took me 15-20 h to bring her from almost to the ready to fly state, but I am not an expert builder, and 60 ºF in my building room didn't help).

Configured her with three different rates, to try to tame the beast, the surface and movement of moving controls is quite impressive, the elevator is fully floating.

Waiting for ideal conditions to maiden her on the slope.

    Cheers.

    Wonderful job:D
You should be able to do some knife edges and scissors with that fuselage, that will be so much fun on the cliffs:D
