Looking forward to seeing that in the air - you've put some work into getting that converted!

    Rotten weather means build time.
Rome wasn't built in a day, but this was.
    Found it awhile ago.

    Going with a 2700kv and a 6x3e. 4x2 setup.
Using the black paper dtfb. Easier to peel for some reason. Left on all control surfaces. Should be fun!

Just finished this build from the boys over at Flitetest. Looks kool wouldn't you say. We'll have to see how well she flies. Oh as you can see she's built with Flite Test's waterproof foam board. It's a lot more expensive than Dollar tree foamboard. But it's great to work with. It holds up alot better than the DT board. X-29.jpg

  10. Well here is what I built over the last couple days, ugggg, . Sort of started backwards doing this by importing my new pdf plans and going from there rather then doing the 3d design and creating the plans when all done but it's a huge learning curve to this new software. :D The new Taranis

I finished my Taranis build, it should have been done months ago but i lost interest in it as it was so ugly and resembles a British narrowboat with wings.

Almost finished a new night-flyer, a 66% "Big Turtle". These are a real blast to fly, like an Alpha Jet, only without the prop-slot scream. 20180213_175342[1].jpg 20180213_175615[1].jpg

    970kv 3542 on 6s with either 9x6 or 10x5, easy 800 watts, thinking I can push 1kw with mods.

Hello All! Its been awhile since i've posted so i thought i'd show what I finished today. RCP F-15 v5- i didn't care much for the boxy look so I did some foam bendin' of my own. The canopy is Steve Schumates' design (well- what he shows on his plans) & is held on magnetically. Ill go back & add the final details & clean up the paint lines AFTER the maiden is done. (Lesson learned after spending waaay to much time making it look perfect & destroying it on the maiden flight!) D'oh!! Right now its just elevons only- has a 40a esc, 1600 mah lipo & stock 2200 kv motor- final weight just under 600 grams. I can shave some weight off when i go to add the 4x4 mechanical & rudders- but first wanna see it airborne. Been too windy so im hoping tomorrow will be kind. Ill post more pics after i do the final detail. And ill try to post video- my camerawoman dont care for the cold so much!
