Two capacitors, a large transformer, some wires and a couple of 9v batteries. Made it even better by wiring in a relay with a capacitor and resistor across the terminals so it auto switched on and off every second or so. Good for making your victim dance :D

Have you ever tried pissing on an electric fence?

I've not, but the pulse effect is very similar to my little "toy" :D

  4. I wasn't that smart with electronics, I could have learned a lot more if you were in my class. Nobody would have been safe :D .

It's handy when you get how relay's work. Even handier when you have a class full of people who don't and you basically go around configuring all the relays into a buzzer and waiting for the plugs to be turned on. Makes quite a racket 30 of them all at once :D

Nailed it right on the head. Added some paper covering, stiffened the wing right up. No more wackiness. Big thanks!

Also maidened the Sonicmodell AR Wing. She's more of an endurance cruiser, with a full APM stack. Not really sure what I'm going to be using it for. My previous setup like this I just used for FPV cruising, but it would really benefit from long range radios. 5.8/2.4 just doesn't cut it. So either it's time to move down the frequency bands, or tear out the efficient and docile setup and turn it into another proximity machine.

Slope soared the Bee 2 flying wing glider on the slope, gusty 5 to 6 with a few moments at 2 only, difficult to negotiate with heavy ballast, made for a challenging flight.

Incredible thermal activity under clouds, she was literally sucked up, till entering the base of low clouds, where a fast dive avoided loosing her.

Again, an electric storm approaching ended the flight after 70 mn.

This simple design has not the elegance in flight of a classic glider, but she can shame most of them on the slope.

    Cheers.

There is something to be said about ugly planes Look at that horrible KR8 of mine. One of the best planes I have ever flown:D

  10. Finally a great flying day, seems like years since there was good weather for it.
Few combat war rounds, one includes a mid air collision I was in. What a blast these combat wars are. Time to build a coupler more spares just in case. ;) Had the PI Pak Fa T-50 out for a few flights also.

My combat wing only fends with sea gulls.
This is excellent to hone your flying skills.
Great recording of your combats, congratulations.

    Cheers.

Flew my repaired Easyglider at the club this morning.

She flew like the first flights of a certain CF-105. No trimming in flight could improve things, I was lucky to land her in one piece.

A second flight after checking once more the glider was as disastrous as the first, landing excepted.

My fixed tail is not right, and, or my fuselage is warped.

The positive is that I didn't have time to experience any electrical problem (new ESC).

May be I should add some missile rails under wings.

    Cheers.

We had a great afternoon slope soaring with three other friends of the club, the Vagabond flew much better than the EZ this morning. Wind was just enough to keep us in flight, but strong thermal activity, again under menacing storm clouds, allowed us to gain considerable height.

The Ridge Ryder of my friend with new quality servos in place of stock ones flew much better, seemed an other glider, much easier to control.

    Cheers.

Well...I really was too busy to do proper filming...but this is what I got...including a mid-air during combat.
