    A wonderful account Luis.
I could imagine the flight as if I were standing on the cliff top with you:)

    You know what Homes?
Flying and golf are quite similar in that if there is water about you usually end up in it:D

It would be my pleasure to guide your first steps in slope soaring.

But to sit on the cliff top with me, you better train your lower padding, you know the look and feel of our rocking chair.

    Cheers.

Took this older model out today...not the most aerodynamic, but it still cruises nicely.

Montreal. The upside to that 'flight' is I got to go airborne with the car shelter briefly until my body weight countered the lift and landed. ;)

Brilliant! I remember building a giant kite and jumping off the shed roof when I was about 10.
    It`s so exciting:)

When I was 12.....my big kite carried me into the shipping lanes coming out of Galveston Bay on an inner tube. Got a real scolding from the Coast Guard!!

No...they were brown! I tried to go on across the bay entrance to Port Bolivar,Tex. The current and wind took me out on the Gulf of Mexico side. It was harrowing when dolphins were trying to ride with me!!ha!

Actually given that the winds were gusting upwards of 60-70 Miles per hour, not so much. I could literally have gone down the street with it had the frame not been attached at the back end to the garage door frame

Well, your still here to tell the tale, which is brilliant:D
Very scary episode, we rarely get winds like that.

Flew the revised Fox motor glider, made several short flights to trim her, advised by an expert friend.

In a few tries, mainly moving CG backwards way past recommended placement in the manual, she flew very well (motor is not a powerhouse), the flight is fast, she responds very well to inputs on the sticks, and lands very smoothly on her wheels.

Ready to try her at the slope.

    Cheers.
