So I'll start this thread off. I flew the rctestflight Slow Trainer.

What about you? Was it a fail or a success?

Flew my Hawk Sky, fog was lifting, took it up too high and lost it in a 'cloud' that suddenly got a lot denser leaving me with no visual on my plane...

After I wet my pants and calmed down I revved the engine a couple of time to see if I could hear it and it came out of the cloud 300 feet away from me, 90 degrees from where I was looking... Learned another lesson today, had a good time :)

We flew my car shelter this morning. 60-80 KM/h winds here this morning at a balmy 34 degrees F in pouring snow/rain/slush mix.

Thankfully I had it tied down so all it did was high alpha in place mostly.

Flew the F-15 Eagle this afternoon and it flew great and the weather was perfect. However I had another incedent with the planes power system shutting down. The planes OK just had to hotglue the nose section back together. Im thinking the problem could be these cheep batteries or possibaly not utilizing the extra little sattelite reciever and the plane is loosing signal or possibly not giving everything enough time to cool down. I used to have this same issue a few months ago when I first started using these inexepensive blue batteries but learned to just putt around with them at first and all would be OK after awhile. Those older batteries seem to work fine now but now I have a new batch this issue has seemed to come back. It seems all these batteries have there own personialites. Ive never had this issue with the old grayson batteries but then again I only have two of them.
anyway thanks for letting me vent
