I think there's a hinge on the right hand side and the top wing folds to the right. Maybe so it can be stored in a smaller hangar. I'm guessing about that. Never seen anything like that before.

  7. Well wings are on and servos in plus controls rods hooked up. .. Servos are all flush mounted into the wings, could be a mistake for the rear ones for balancing but this way the fuse is wide open for battery placement.

What's the difference in area of each wing? It's looks like an optical illusion, picture #2 looks like the rear wing is bigger and the last picture it looks like the fsw is larger. Do you see that or is it just me? Looks like you're using a wide angle lens, that may be the reason.

I think it would be better if it was like the photo where the front plane looked smaller but they are the same span.

That's what I was thinking too. It would be like the front wing would be more like a canard with a little forward sweep.

Here is another member who could not get his design to fly. Got permission to duplicate(my rudder was different) with 2 FSW wings.
Needed 4 cups of coffee(super sensitiveness) and some added weight on the wing to get it to fly. Gust decided to flip it in flight.

Calculated CG for a FSW wing. Was looking at boundary layer ingestion and the first tries, it wouldn't go at all. Adapted and finally got it to be flyable with tail heavy with scott slots. Removed slots, change CG way many times and finally got it to fly. So don't give up.

  14. Give up, I haven't started yet :D :D :D ,

Already gave it a nose job so I can get close to my calculated cg point, Double Ugly has gotten uglier. :D :D

I would`nt worry about that not flying, it is so ugly the Earth will repel it:D
I was going to say you should have glued the front wing rear root to the rear wing Front root but it was too late.:DDDD

  16. Actually my original plans are that way, I didn't like it so I moved the wing forward, DUH. :D :D

  17. If my calculations are right for the cg it is very close to the rear of the front wing, well a couple inches.

    Jeff.
Make a profile plane with KF`s to explore the CoG in the garage. It doesn`t need to be to fancy.
Have you considered a forward swept vertical fin with the motor above the rear wing like the HK Skipper or Polaris?
This would keep the weight inboard and help get an easier CoG:)
