That's just plain cool.
Excellent, Tom, that's going to be a ton of fun!
I like the technology
I like the AJ for the simple fact it can fly in most any weather. A stiff breeze is surprisingly easy to manage considering it's still a simple foam parkjet.
This time of year is truly impossible as far as that seasonal breeze we need to wait out yet. There's a reason why they call it windiana. I keep thinking it'll settle down in a few days. ...argh....patients...wait for it.
Besides the AJ is the perfect frame for the "glowing from within" look that I think looks so cool.
You're really making us all look bad with those paint jobs.
Nice work Tom!
I need to make a t-shirt of this photo.
It just makes me smile.
This is what happened after seeing eyes on a few of malukk's planes.

Looks like it came off of "Angry Bird" games.
I am officially putting this plane on my next build list...
You can light it up nicely, handles the wind nicely and most important of all.... High-alpha which I love the most!!
Gotta build this!
... I look forward to it.
Now my green bird has a friend...red bird.
I used green bird for areal fights last season so she has a few glue scars and dents on her.
Painted the underside over the week end.
Looks sweet Tom
Looks very sharp! Nice!!
I like that Marvin the Martian look.
I was all over it. The brush was splattering and laying down an intermittent track. Remixed the paint... cleaned out the brush again....wtf.
Now that the compressor is plugged back in and I can finish this thing
There finished .... top and bottom.
That little added bit of weathering really helps to soften it up.
I think you should start video recording your paint jobs so we can learn from you.
I couldnt agree more, lol
make sure you keep both of them in good shape for May...we will need another AJ extravaganza! We had 5 in the air last time lol
Okay here is one I will give you... Thrusters.
