    Apparently there was a "Police Incident" on the overpass I have to take home, no cars, no pedestrians. So I had to walk the long way home...which happens to be past home depot, so I had that going for me.

    Picked up some Minwax Polycrylic. I'm going to fiberglass the nacelles!

    Ya, lots of sage! have to be careful where I land. Sagebrush is not a friend of the foam. A lot of people dont know that this area of southern BC is semi arid. 40 degree summers and manageable winters.

    getting ready to build this Su-30 for the first time. do you guys think I should be putting ailerons, elevator and rudder on this plane?

    Thanks Eldorado4, I have ailerons and elevator on my first two F-18 V3's and I really like that set up. just looking for a little more High Alpha control!

    Future father-in law just got the SU-35 I gave him up in the air. Flies amazingly well with the thickened wing roots. I'll see if I can get a video of it. Talk about a speed demon though! I'm glad I didn't try to fly it.

    If you are looking for high alpha, I would go with the SU-27SS and build it light. Use elevons and rudders and you can high alpha all day long. The guys at the field were astonished. The SU-30 does it as well if you keep the weight down.
