Discussion in 'Quadcopters' started by DutchRC, Apr 27, 2017.

  1. Halloa people :)

another quadcopter from Diatone! Happy days! :D Why? Well.. I think most of us were pretty impressed by last years Crusader GT2 from Diatone.. So I couldn't wait to get my hands on this new TyrantS :)

Link to this new FPV quad: Diatone TyrantS 215mm FPV Quadcopter

I'll do several video's on this quadcopter.. In most cases I included a short test-flight in the first overview-video.. In this case I wanted to go into a bit more detail in my 'Show & Tell'.. So flight video's will come up After this one..

  2. Weird enough, this quad doesn't seem that popular? i actually like it better then the GT2 :$ (I like quads with top-mounted lipo's better for my flying style)..
The TyrantS has 1 big downside though: no OSD man! :O

Let's go and solve that :)

(I'll use the 'old' VTX in an airplane by the way, so it's not as costly an upgrade as it may seem)

  3. An addition on the 'how to add the OSD' WITH a new test-flight as well :)
