Bimo, you and the Guys at Parkflyers International have designed a fantastic plane to build. It's challenging enough for someone with building experience and not to complicated for a beginner. I am really enjoying this build. I'm about 90% complete and it looks really great. Looking at Flybyknight22's plane after the crash, I'm not too excited to fly it because it looks so good and I don't want to crash it. But if it flies like your videos, It's something to look forward to. You guys at Parkflyers International keep up the wonderful RC design work.

Hi sirskyhi. Thank you so much for the kindest words my friend. We're all excited with each of our planes. However, like all other people, each of us have our own favorite. I have the F/A-18 G1R as my personal favorite now, next to the Typhoon, YF-23 and T-50.

And we have hope that many people would enjoy any of the planes we've created and it drives us with more spirit and energy to keep on pushing our boundaries. And we hope ee could still come up with more enjoyable designs in the future.

So, another picture of the F/A-18 to cheer you guys all up. A good shot, telling how cool it was to see the Super Hornet in between the clouds.

Hi jimbosflyin. Many many thanks for your kindest concern. We're all good here. We felt the first quake in the middle of the night. But, since the centre of the quake was hundreds km away from where I live, some small shakes got us surprised.

All is good here my friend, thanks

Bimo, This is just a great plane to build. I can't believe just a few days ago this was two sheets of Model Plane foam. Thanks for the great design. I hope my plane flies as good as your's. F-18_G1.jpg

Bimo any plans for an 64mm EDF mod design for the F18?

He has the Eurofighter Typhoon EDF. Nice plane. I was actually asking if he would redesign it with cambered airfoil and rear mounted prop, lol. He's working on it now.

  18. Oh that would be a fun mod or should I say difficult. ;)

Hi sirskyhi. Nice built you have as always. Well, the F/A-18 was designed ground up to have rear pusher. I believe the space isn't enough to accommodate EDF inside the fuselage and we came up with 1,800-2,200 mAh 3S battery compartment that's not suitable for 4S batt size. Also, with pusher, even with 1,800mAh 3S, mine flew for around 8-10 mins which is more than enough for me. 70mm EDF at the same capacity could only top at 5 mins. It was clearly displayed my Eurofighter. I'm now working the conversion (eventhough very slow) for the Typhoon to have pusher and airfoil.
