    Thanks Bimo,

Ray Brown was the best man I ever knew.

He was named after the famed American Revolutionary War Hero Paul Revere, hence his middle name.

My Grandmother was 13 and Grandfather was 15 when they got married.

They lived with my Great Grandfather for 2-years before they struck out on their own at age 15 and 17.

That was fairly common back in those days.

He was a carpenter his entire life.

He taught me how to hunt, fish, play the violin, guitar and mandolin. I worked for him building houses and pouring concrete before I left home during the Veitnam War and enlisted in the Navy at age 17.

He didn’t smoke, drink or cuss but he had a weakness for deer hunting out of season with Black and Tan hounds and making and selling moonshine.

My uncle and Grandfather made the shine but never drank it. The Revenuers (tax man) caught their driver on one of these old back roads on a midnight run and sent him up the river for about 5 years but he never rattled out my uncle Freeman or Grandfather. :)

He truly was a great man in many ways.

    I miss him.

I absolutly love this PI F-18,my Blue Angel flew so well with no issue's,I didn't experiance any tork roll on launch at all.The RCP F-18 V3 gave me loads of fun and I learned to fly and perform manuvers with it,but it was time to say goodby:(

This PI F/A-18 has now become my favorite to fly plane too, jimbosflyin The feeling was there the moment it left my hand on its first toss.

I feel the urge to make a larger one as well, make a clear canopy, place FPV gears on it, and fly it, dreaming like I'm a real F/A-18 pilot

Looks like it would be difficult for us to have lower standard on future new planes as we set a new bar on our parkjets. The F/A-18 is surely a huge milestone for us.

Glad having you and homey666 since the beginning of the design phase, jimbosflyin. Really appreciate the contribution

It has been a blast Bimo.I started thinking of the clear canopy like the one I did on the SU-35 for this one.in the mean time this one will do.

Can’t get over how purty that plane is.

It’s almost a shame to paint it as it looks spectacular in white but of course it would be harder to see so I know you must paint for better obeservation.

    She is a,..
    LOOKER!

She’s tighter than the hatches on the last submarine I was on, and that is,...

    TIGHT BABBA!

Let’s see, what would Homey say?

    “It’s TOIT LIKE A TOIGA”!

    Jim,

What % of scale did you use to build it?

    120, 150% ?

I don't think I ever mentioned that I was a desighning engineer for the Navy for 18 years before I became disabled.I helped desighn and build prototypes of defence systems and then put them in production.
