  1. Not sure if Bimo did any on his computer for that, I can't :D I really thought of it but after the fact of course, single servo in the back middle would work just great.

  2. Hey Malukk, do you remember what your Schumate weighed in at and what it measures at ?

  5. here we go, I originally tried it on 5 volts and didn't like it so added the external bec and bumped it up to 6V. My stupid FlySky TH9X which has a ton of pre programmed features and most are useless or don't make any sense lacks some flexibility big time. Simple flaps and controlling the speed is non existent. So right now it is extended or retracted, no in-between ;) .

Looks like it's doing the trick! Can you slow the servo movement for smoother transition in the air? On my Panavia the quick transition from swept to open caused more of an abrupt reaction than open to swept. Looks great Jeff!

  9. No, That just it with my tx, anything that I can adjust speed in has some other mix as part of it, just screwy period.

  10. It some ways it might be like getting a needle, do you want it to go in slow and hurt all the way or just a quick jab and get it over with. ;)

Jeff the sweep is very smooth, looks good. Greg, I'm building the Tornado right now, waiting on the MG servos to come in so I can test the wings on mine. Any help you or Jeff can give on how to setup the sweep on the tx would be appreciated. I agree, the motion needs to be slowed way down to look more scale and to avoid throwing off the balance. How to do this? Also, I'd like to be able to set the wings other than fully extended or fully swept. Jimbo your plane looks nice, as usual. How are your wings set up?

I hooked mine up to my channel 6 turn dial on my Futaba JR,SMOOTH.And I can have them in any position I want.

  13. I thought of doing that and even had it working but I just though (for me) I would have to concentrate and have my finger of the stick to much so opted for on or off. :D

Mine also is through channel 6 but I went with the gear switch. I set my end limits really low before hooking it up to a battery and slowly increased each limit to where I needed the wing to stop.

  14. Well the Grim Reaper beat me but now Jolly Rodger is here now so let the party begin. ;)

Looks great! Have you thrown her on the scales yet? Curious to see the total weight.

On my turnigy 9xr I have a 3 position flap switch and it can be programmed for position and speed. That is what I would use on a swept wing design.
