Doesn't matter what color we are, who we are and where we are. It's what inside that matters we care for each other and all of us will shine, spreading the joy all over the places. That's why we're here in this forum, having fun together with the hobby eventhough most of us are separated thousands of miles away. Our hearts are sitting next to each other we're no different at all.

    Welcome back!

As a challenging build I was thinking of building this F-14 TomCat as an EDF.

I would have to make a number of changes obviously but it has crossed my mind to try.

As is she looks like a beautiful build regardless.

Looking forward to see your progress.

    Take care,

I beleave when you purchase the plans on the web site it comes with the build guide and helps the unfortunate kids that Bimo teaches.

  9. If the plans are released there should be build plans. ;) We each did a few variations of the wing mounts and slides to make sure the wings easily retract and extend without sticking. One of the posts Malukk gave a good lead on the servos for the wings which were stronger (more torque) then the ones we used and if I remember right the same price. I know with mine just to make sure they would be strong enough I installed an external bec that had the option to operate at 6v instead of the standard 5v.

  10. This one wouldn't be easy to convert to edf, but if you do I am all eyes....

Exteral BEC at 6v is a must for them I think and wouldn't go any other way.

You may already have mentioned it but are you using depron foam?

All I can get is MPF or fan fold.

I think I was the only one that used MPF B on this one.

Only EDF that would be snug are twinn 50's that won't have anything close the amount off thrust for this plane.

Right at the very beginning it looked like you almost lost it Jeff.

    Good recovery Mav!

Yeah Big Jim, the engine size would have to be slightly enlarged in diameter to accept a 70mm EDF.

    May not be doable.
