Thanks, I believe I got the teeth from one of your posts.
I have added some Chinese roundels and a flying tiger but the ink has ran and they look dull. I will take some pictures when the varnish has dried.
We have to make a few modifications that need to be drawn and Bimo is very busy.
Please bare with us so we can release a plane you can truly enjoy building and flying.
You may find this hard to believe, but this P.40 is easier to fly than my Durafly Storch and a lot more pleasurable.

I love the Flying Tigers emblem, I'm putting that on mine as well;)

The stability and lift potential of you guys design really shows on your videos.

This would be my first low wing plane and this looks like a good one to start with.

Sure it would slope, but I lack nerves to risk landing such a beauty where I slope. Cheers.

  7. Looks great Ian, here if it isn't the wind it starts raining and any day that is decent I am working. :(

I am wondering if I put the fire wall in back to front, it does stick out a hell of a long way.
Looks like some major surgery may be needed, or I could wait until I need a new nose:)
ANYHOOOOO, she still flies BEAUTIFULLY. I can`t wait for another session:D
Yeah I am pretty sure I have made a mistake with the fire wall.

  11. I wouldn't worry about it personally. the 2 extra motor mount pieces go behind the one with the tabs.

Yes I know now, I wasn`t concentrating when I glued it in.
I will have to fix it if I am going to fit a spinner, because the lack of one is really bugging me now:)
I may be able to remove to two front pieces with a hot knife and glue some new ones in the right place.

I`m hoping the wind dies down this evening so I can fly.

  14. We have tons of wind with rain right now, truck and trailer loaded for work today but that's cancelled now also. :D

Hmmmmm, I wonder stretch the rear fuselage and shorten the nose.
May be able to adapt the plans of the P.40 to build a Hawker Hurricane imageshurricane.jpeg 1__53245.1416250085.1020.1020_1024x1024Pale green P.40.jpeg

I managed two flights with the P.40 in fairly breezy conditions.
The ground turbulence was rather nasty.
I tried moving the CG back on the first flight but it was not very direct.
This is the second flight with the battery a little further forward and the plane felt much better.
