It flies really well, looks realistic (just asks for a nice paint scheme!).
    Well done.
    Cheers.

  3. You can almost come to a stop and it's still decently stable so 300% better. :)

  4. Well it has some color now, and some PIPES. ;) Next to find some pictures and make some decals. ;)

    Looking good:)
I am going to try and fair in the wing and fuselage with 3mm depron or card.

  7. You got my email and pictures of how I did mine didn't you? Simple way to build a template. ;)

  8. Even the landing in the second video was slow and 1 second before touchdown you will hear the click of when I activated the flaps.

That's too cool Wild. Any Luftwaffe in your area should be on high alert! Gonna look even better with the spinner on there. Maybe some machine guns in the wings :D.

I believe your wings do a lot for the flight behavior.
    Cheers.

Yes, but that is not what I mean. I am refering to the acute angle between fuse and wing.

  13. Might have to search for some good closeup pictures of the guns and see if I can 3D print them ??? ;)

Jeff, It is not on the plan but I think it will make a nice touch.
Plus it will hide the dreadful mess I will make of attaching the the wing to the fuselage:D
I think I may be popping out for some foaming Gorilla glue:)

I seriously wouldn`t want to be on the wrong end of those 6x .50 cals.
Great picture FT, just what Jeff wanted.
The P.40 started with just 2 50 cals in the nose then they put .30`s in the wings and things began to get very heavy when they put the 6x 50`s and extra amour plating was added Performance and maneuverability suffered so they uprated the engines.

I'm really enjoying following the development and build of this warbird you guys. And we get to learn a little bit of history to boot. I love the jets, but this just a cool a** project. Hats off to the PI development team ;)
