The Rocket is an awesome touring bike. It has to be smooth as silk with basically a car engine for power. Also 3 cylinder bikes have a sound of their own. I'd love to own the Speed Triple. A friend of mine owns a BMW K75, 3 cylinder transverse engine laid over on it's side to keep the weight down low. It sounds like no other bike I have ever ridden.

    Yeah Flyte, those all work.

I’m a big fan of “Puke Ball Bat” myself.

Na no need to apologize, you nailed it! :p

I always loved the old and venerable Triumph and some of the BSA’s. It just got a little old tightening all their nuts and bolts every 200 miles of riding.

I always thought the 750 Bonnivelle Triumph was the way a motorcycle should look and handle. Loved those bikes.

I even had a soft spot for the old 850 Norten Commando.

Wankmobile is my favourite term for the use of an off road vehicle that is used purely in an urban environment for taking the kids to school.
Rangerovers, Hummers, G wagons and Escalades are all Wankmobiles.

Yes all those are purely, "look at me I'm better than you vehicles". Ironic that you mentioned Hummers. I just got back from the hardware store and got behind one those monstrosities. They are big and ugly, almost as wide as the entire lane and 99% of them have never or ever will see nothing other than tarmac. Hummer owner is equivalent to Jackwagon IMO.

I`m pretty sure that Jackwagon has the same meaning as Wankmobile, just a different language:D

Just gotta hand it to ya Ian.

Britain was always way out in front with the Triumph. After all it was the original “Trump”.

When they first built it, like the legendary Spitfire they knew it was gonna be,....

You get a pass Jeff cause after all, when you get the standard 7-foot snow, you need a rig that can still be seen afterwards.

And besides you need a Jackwagon big enough to haul around all your spectators.

    Hummer fits that niche nicely!

Yeah, yeah, I heard about that deal, real shame about the pooch and all.

I heard the maid was riding with him when that happen.

She Caused him to miss a shift and accidently jerk the wheel that caused old Yellers demise.

Old Yeller did die with a smile on his face Ian.
I think we can both appreciate that,...

I mean, getting a little peek that makes you giggle at the exact moment you bite the dust gotta be worth something!

Here he is after Termibator sent him to the taxidermy and then hung him on the wall.

He came out pretty good if you ask me.

As long as you liked it that's all that really matters.;) Why did you get rid of it if I might ask? Fuel costs higher than the mortgage payments? :D
