Definitely a different tract for the forum, an experiment in expanding our minds? I like it.

The new European and Jap Diesels are mustard and some out perform gas motors.
The latest thing is fitting nitrous to diesels and mapping the engines for real performance.
I got nitoroused by a VW Caddy (small van) Cheesus did that thing shift, it left my etrike in the dust:D

I moved this thread to miscellaneous so that it could live and breath a little outside of the scratch build threads. These kinds of civil discussions can build the community until some knobhead comes in and... Well let's hope that doesn't happen. Btw Jay taught me the word knobhead and it just works.

I like jackwagon, then there's knucklehead, doofus , ignoramus, bonehead and s**t for brains. Surely more synonyms out there. :p

    Yeah, i`m sure they are.
The knuckle head is where the fuel is burnt to make a loud noise.
The ignoramus is connected to the spark plug to ignite the fuel that is converted into a loud noise.
The doofus is the suicide shifter.
The s**t for brains is the ECU (not to be confused with an ESC.)
The bone head is the person proud to be driving the jackwagon (which is slang for two wheeled agricultural vehicle).
Harley Davidson converting gas into noise since 1903 and the bikes have Harley changed in all that time.
    Just kidding:D

That`s right, if he had used a Ducati the film would have been over in half an hour:D

This post is in the top 5 best posts on this forum, hands down, Ian. So clever! And yeah they do make copious amounts of racket. And leak oil all over the place. But made in the good old U. S. of A. :D

And I wish they would keep them there.:D
There is a knobhead that rides one past my house at six in the morning and never fails to wake me up.
Straight through pipes 110db minimum and a paltry 67.4 horsepower. European and Jap bikes of 1200cc are making between 120 and 190hp.
At least the ricers come and go so quick you barely know they are around, but I can hear bone head plodding away from around two miles away and into the next county.
    That`s what grinds my gears:D
    I love my sleep:)

I knew you were going to bubble me over the ebike, but I am going to ride my high horse and say I am trying to offset some of the carbon footprint of the eco disaster that is my diesel van.
If Arnie had used my ebike they could have turned the film into a series. Oh wait a minute they did!:D

Thank you for the compliment, I do like to add fun even at the expense of the mighty Harley Davidson corporation.
Unfortunately not everything built in the US of A is the biggest and best.
In my opinion this is the best American motor cycle, unfortunately it is built 24 miles down the road from me in Hinckley Leicestershire England.:D
The Mighty Triumph 2.3 liter Rocket. ( I wouldn`t buy one, it`s too big:))
It comes with silencers as standard. I was talking to a guy that owns one, he has to bolt the tire to the back wheel to stop it twisting on the rim. Nice.
