At 1.7m wingspan this is one BIG foamie. Bigger is better and this Grand Tundra flies much like it's original 1.3m version from 2 years ago but in a BIGGER much more stable way. Same big Bush wheels, same big barn door flaps...but there are some awesome new enhancements. 6 part light system is one nice addition as are the turbulators on top of the wing to reduce the stall speed.

    I have the smaller one.
    It's a HOOT!!!!!! :D:D:D
I'd like to get the GRAND, but like you, adding an additional $250 or so for batteries puts it out of reach for now.:( Oh well, if it's like it's predecessor, it'll be there when my bank acct is ready.;)

6s can be done on the cheap and most of us already have most of the parts. All you need is two matching 3s batteries and a series cable, pair two 3s 2200mah 30c batteries and you get a 6s 2200mah 30c battery. Magic!

6s is addicting and big planes are FUN! Also easier to see as my eyes deteriorate.

With the maiden flight in the bag it was time to take the safety's off and fling the GT around a bit...

  12. Another pilot that makes any plane look good. It does look really agile for it's size.

  13. PS, I can break it. :D

further inspection revealed a broken battery tray a easy fix,no manual and a missing top hatch which they don't seem to stock, been on HK to try to sort the issues but with no success yet.cant see it flying this summer.

    Wow... what a disappointment huh.

I bought the first tundra last season and never really flew it that much.

It does want to tip stall more than the funcub or the timber. It always required power applied when landing.... a little less glide is all.

It is a fun plane and as nimble as they get once it's balanced out nicely. Did it include floats or anything ?

What impressed me most was the suspension they used for landing gear.. it works very well.

no floats and ive also found theres loose led light wires dangling about inside and nothing to plug them into, without a manual I don't know what else is missing, cant even send it back as ive chopped the box up.

  20. Well that really sucks,
