Oh, and love the shallow KF2 on this. I never really "felt" the difference between 50% chord and less. Having it close to CG felt better for me. Very nice, Dave and Shannon!

Glad you like it Greg. I look forward to seeing your build.

When we fly her she just seems so dialed in, but I'll be curious to see if you end up modding anything.

Well, since the v4 I am a big fan of "fronterons" s opposed to kf2. Those with flaps are my favorite mode of flying the F18! But I may go stock first. All the v5's seem so dialed in. Very good work!

If Dave could, he'd put "fronterons" on every plane ;)

Why can't he? I do!:D This is perfect for a MJv3 and 1000 3s to keep the wing loading super low.

Love that paintjob. I've always liked the diamondback scheme. You pulled it off beautifully.

Well done, RC Powers, plans purchased:)

A quick question...In the electronics listing you mention a 1300 3S battery, in the pictures, it shows a 2200 3S in the plane. Has it been test flown with a 2200 3S battery, and if so, where the battery is shown in the picture, is that where it balanced in flight?

    Cheers,

    Scott

I'm not certain, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt; but it looks like the battery placement is right on the optimal CG. I would guess that you could run a wide range of batteries installed at the same location. This is a big advantage of having all the electronics (weight) as close to the CG as possible.
