I can get it to hover low (twin prop)....but then you have to cut the power so the props don't get chewed up.Good thing I beefed up the bottom.

I really like it a lot!It flys really good and it sounds bad ass.I was thinking of running two mega jet v2s on it with four cell. The only thing im wondering on is the weight it will be at and if it would be worth it.

I will get my son to record a flight for me and I will post as soon as I can.I want to try the 2700 ntm.But I can't find any for sale.

  8. For the twin setup Airflow has been using the 2200 NTM and the little Turnigy 2200 on 4S. The 2 Turnigy's on 4S have super thrust, they are lighter and seem to be pretty durable plus only a 40A ESC. :)

turnigy 2826/6/ 2200 on 4s?Wow,i thought that would fry the motors. He must be using throttle management. Thanks for the info.I will have to try it.I fried a 2200 ntm on a turnigy a-spec 4 with a dectrum 60amp esc.To much WOT.

The su37 mk1 can take a ton of weight! I was at 42 oz with twin mjv3. A couple guys were over 50 oz and flew well. So, load it up if you want. But, for me the plane is all about having slow to medium speed aerobatic fun and the twin mjv3 or 2826 motors are a lot of fun. When I landed the su37 mk1 I came in, flared it and then let go of the sticks a split second before landin so that motors and elevons did not dig in. Never had an issue with hinges or motors.

Decided to go with active canards. Now I'm starting the paint madness. Will be geometric patterns in different dark greys.....instead of straight black.

I draw out one half the design directly on the surface with pencil, then paint it in.Then I trace the pattern I just painted with tracing paper and flip the pattern to the unpainted side and transfer the graphite to the foam. All my paint is done with paintbrush and paint markers,no tape, that takes to long.
