    glueing as started,been watching the forums so this build includes butt joints,bending/rolling,reversed cut and fold plus abit of traditional build,happy so far,sat looks like a good day but sun looks like a building day.

    taking shape now,i think it was scott who was using 4x2 wood blocks to aid building,been meaning to get some off cuts when at work came across some carboard packing,just perfect for the job.

    How did you make the cockpit?

    I have been trying to cut and shape clear plastic for cockpits for months. I have been unsuccessful.

    i make a mould,usually wood and car body filler,stick it in a pop bottle and shrink it down,theres some good info on utube,this last one i made out of depron and filler for quickness but only just got the shape before the foam started to deform.

    Those SU`s look mean, Andy. I think the only plane that looks more sinister is the Handley- Page Victor.

    Very informative video Andy,i've used soda bottle canopy's before but not this way.I'm deffinatly going to start makeing up some wood mold's up.

    this was the maiden flight not as good as the video i put on the su family as i was concentrating on the flying an not the filming.

    its had 7 flights so far an ive still not even moved a trim,straight as a arrow,going to move the battery forward a little as she was a little tail heavy or i may not its that slight.

    Alright Greg, I read the 45 pages and I'm sold. As soon as I'm allowed (/glare) to build more planes (apparently I have too many, need to crash a few...), we need to make this happen.

    Do you think the 100% version of the mk1 could pack 45oz? I really want to try a twin EDF build next!
