Yes, one apc 6x4 and one 6x4 p prop will get you the counter rotating set up! I have mine rotating inwards rather than outwards. I find better control response with that.
That was from before Jay and I worked together officially! The mk2 is a little smaller and more refined, but the mk1 is truly a beautiful plane!

    Good tips, thanks.

YES! The videos of both single and twin are fantastic. That plane looks soooo sharp.
I got the depron and most of the electronics, ordering some props but most of all I've got time!!! Yay!
Going for the twin version, always wanted to try that.

    Thanks again F1.

Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions. Having the props on the elevons and battery up front under the canopy makes the plane have that heavy looking scale performance. I was around 40- 42 oz as it was flying there and you can see how much lift it had. I ended up putting twin edfs on it then gave it to assoulsdream!

What type of elevator hinges did you guys use on the twin version?
    Thanks

On those I was using 3m extreme packing tape, but the foam tac and fiberglass tape hinges work great too!

Sorry, more questions, first time I am going with a twin setup:

Should I also use a BEC?

I have 3 regular servos and 2 bigger ones (specs bellow), I'll have 2x 40 amps TGY plush ESC connected to one 3000 mha 3s 40C bat and to the THROTTLE channel of RX.
    Using 2x MJV3 from graysonHobby.

    Servo specs:
    Specs:
    Model: TGY-225MG
    Voltage: 4.5 - 6v
    Speed: .12s
    Running Current: 180mA
    Torque: 3.5kg/cm
    Gears: Metal
    Weight: 26g
    Narrow dead band width.

    Thank you.

    Frederic,
Do not know, it works fine for me without any BEC. But I'm only using 4 servos... 2 mg's and two regular HXT900. Why not simulate a maximum "power load" on the ground, to see if a brown-out occurs.

Just completed the SU37 twin!!! Took me longer than expected, not that there is anything wrong with the build itself to the contrary but it was my first twin setup, rear engines and I decided to include active canards. .
All done, just need a paint job .

Maiden as soon as the rain stops.
Heaviest plane I have ever built , can't wait to see how it flies. :)

    This plane is gorgeous !

Looks beautiful Frederic! Good luck with the maiden flight! You don't need too much travel on the elevons with the thrust vectoring coming off the motors on the back, and with this set up the thrust helps roll too, so expo is good!

    Thanks F1.

845 grams (29.8 oz) without battery.

Too windy and way too cold for maiden today :-/

That'll be good!! Keep felt good at around 40 oz. Don't remember the exact weight. Good luck!

    Thanks Greg.
Looking at your videos (post 83), you said you had the canards on the LERX mix. Is "LERX mix" the name of a TX mix or does it mean something else.? I googled LERX and the only thing I could find was Leading Edge Root Extension.
Sorry, might be a real stupid question but can't seem to find an answer. ;)

    cheers

    Frederic
