I have been flying this plane with 100% throws and 50% expos. If you cut endpoints to 50% also it will be a docile plane that takes a night to build! then flip the switch once you get 3 mistakes high and do crazy things! Like Jay does!

That's just made me think f1, on my radio I can set epa to 140% and maybe the reason I can tumble this f16 and the bijet

I bet you are right! If I could get a longer servo arm....
By the way, JettaManDan has the blooper film up of the fly in... Guilty as charged!

Started the rebuild last night. Going pretty well. Splicing in new parts with toothpicks. Reinforcing where I can.

  9. I have a question. I maidened it today and had to trim the he11 out of it. I had the battery in the intake on the left side and it wanted to roll to the left bad... I'm affraid if I put it in the right intake it will do the same...where are y'all putting your battery at? Working on editing the video now

The motors wants to torque the plane to the left so you definitely need to put it on the right side

Shot some video of myself and Meatball84 having some fun last night. Took out my 2nd F-16 Profile by boxermad. This one has elevons and rudder, microjet with 6x4 prop, flying on 1600 up to 2200mha batteries.

The first one I built had a KF2, this one has no KF foil. I had hoped to get some night flying done but we were having so much fun we used up all of our batteries before it got full dark :)

One other note, this one is slightly larger than plan. I printed everything as intended and the fuse pieces are all proper scale, I just put a small bit of extra surface area on the wings, elevons and vertical stabilizer.

This is my new Favorite plane. I did buy and print the 29v2 plans yesterday though... ;)

We did clip midair after that video was shot. Its not our first midair :p

I spoke up first after impact.. "I've got a malfuction". Meatball responded in kind. Mine was pulling to the left, his sounded like a piece of rebar stuck in a lawnmower lol

Mine was back in the air with just a little tape. Meatballs motor mount and surrounding foam was 'swishing' side to side. He still kept flying though, just kept the throttle low hehe

Having the two planes flying together like that was way cool, sounded like you had a really good day flying. I still think your f16 is my favourite paint scheme.

Sweet plane! So whats the verdict: KF2 or no KF2?

    Thanks.
I found with the KF2 she wanted to climb. Alot. This plane doesnt need the extra lift. Made it feel very 'floaty'. I think a KF4 would be real nice, but for now I want to keep it as light as possible

  16. I too run no Kf's on this plane and its friken awesome!!! you could probably go with Kf4's but I think it would just add weight you dont need

I route templates for all the planes I build so I can cut them out of 2" foam on my hotwire table. When the parts are then sliced to 1/4"(6mm) I get 6 pieces out of each part. With my son and I flying we go thru planes very fast and I figured this would be the cheapest option in the long run. We have destroyed 2 F22s so far and when we build a new one or rebuild a part of one we just grab whatever parts we need off the shelf!

Now that's good thinking, if only I had access to the equipment to do that.
