Yes i agree, just the push rods in some cases, can be heavier than servo!

That's true, except for these which I use on all planes!

The light weight of the pushrods are spread out over a greater area so the effect on cg feels less. I highly recommend them!

    Hello Kiko12,

I appreciate your very kind and thoughtful interest in my build friend.

    I use numerous different batteries Kiko12, larger than 1500mah, some 40C-50C- 60C-120C 3 and 4 cell.

I am not particularly planning on delivering anything.

If I decide to change props out for example to a 7 inch, the power plant is more than capable of producing over 400 watts.

It is very easy to pull that amount of wattage and more by simply changing to that 7 inch prop, which I frequently do from time to time on all my builds, most likely including this one.

The specs for the motor that I posted show that on a 7x5E prop.

I confirm my assumptions with measurements on a Turnigy Thrust Stand with built in inline Turnigy 7in1 Mega current, voltage and watt meter.

I test/measure all components using these tools before putting them in any plane to verify proper operation while stress testing the electronics checking for any premature failures.

Here is just some of the equipment I use to measure my power system with, inline current meter is also shown.

Have you had the chance to measure the thrust, maximum wattage and current output of this motor with the MasterAirScrew 6x4x3, APC 7x3, 7x4 or APC 7x5 prop at wide open throttle using a 2200mah 40C-60C battery?

I hope all is well with you and I
thank you so much for your kind assistance and thoughtful comments.

    All the best to you,

    Locky,

Until you posted, I had never heard of RCM&E before. Checked out their website. Lots of plane pictures and wooden model plans.

Hmmmm, didn't see anything in there about aircraft behavior modification though :)

Ya learn something new every day :)
    Thanks Locky

One of my Tower Pro servos quit working on my left elevon.I was still able to land it without any trouble.About 50ft. up.Replaced the servo that was dead. Now ready for paint.A real blast to fly!

Glad to hear you got it back safely! We built it tough, but 50 ft. up is a little high for an unplanned landing. It is one of my favorite planes to fly in my fleet!
