Haha, I've had people tell me that its tail heavy when I would do a high alpha pass!

    Update 2nd MiG 2.88 110%
Unfortunately too windy at noon, waiting to fly my FRC F-22. Until then, completing the replacement for my aging power 2.88. The weight ended up less than expected. 110% Just 19.8oZ with two motors /ESC's /5 carbon rods and extra servos for canards and slats. With a 2000mAh 4s
only 28.8oz. It's just 2oz more than my single motor Frc F-22 110% on the same battery.

Yes Greg:) pretty good performance is expected, static thrust 78oz. And 120oz for the old one with dual 1800mAh 5s batteries.

    The new 2.88
Almost there ... a few other things left to finish. Here's a brief demo of the slats/canards working together...

Yes exactly Greg! And as you know, I have no slats on my first one. But it worked well anyway ... Hehe, but this will make it possible to fly slowly without an any extreme high angle of attack to keep the speed down. :)

For those who haven't seen my Diff-thrust Beast in high alpha action.
    120oz of static thrust,
    2 x NTM 2200kv's,
    2 x 60A TGY Plush ESC's,
    2 x MasterAS 6x4 3 blade.
    2x 1800mAh 5s lipos.

    Weight around 47oz :)
Fully possible to fly slowly, even with a heavy load of two 5s batteries. It's all a matter of a high angle of attack!;)

    Counting days ...

Well, in any case, she works on the ground!:) I had time to test everything on Sunday night. Three days to go before I am back at home on Thursday. Maiden on Friday if the weather is on my side. No diff thrust on this one. Just an ordinary simple twin setup.

    Approved. Maiden voyage next...

That's fantastic, Airflow. Please post a video if you get one. I love the sound of twin power and your piloting skills, of course!

Thanks, the MiG 2.88 should be called a stunt plane. Even easier to control in HA than the Alphajet.
