Now that is the way its supposed to be flown, Lars! Slow and in control. Beautiful!

I wanted to watch videos of your takeoff/landings with your different configs. I am designing my own with a prop and my gizmos to see if I can takeoff and land on a table. I have taken off/landed a number of times on a table with my F-22 equipped with my invention(thrusters) and TVectoring using a 64mm EDF.

While building an A-10, some versions have droops(no one here wanted to try it), which I explored and given the choice of endplates or droops, droops is far better. Also going to attach flap and aileron to wing where 45 degree angle is exposed on top of wing so bottom is the pivot point. Let's see if flow pattern is different especially when deflected. Have a number of "things" I am going to try.
Looking to get is off/land in less than 5 ft.

I once had a pattern plane where one of the elevator's servos always traveled faster than the other causing it to go off axis like when you did a large loop or 3 successive rolls. Using the servo speed, I was able to trim it out so it did axial movement. I intend on using the radio to trims STOL conditions.

Back home from work, a late 8pm flight with flaps set to 30 dgr.
Practicing Touch and go. Managed to crash it twice. :)

Another fun flight, Lars! I found 30 degrees about right for taking off and landing but switched them off for Flight. I'd say, if you don't want ailerons, at least put light 5g servos for flaps?

Greg, Unfortunately, it's already too late.;) Ailerons are already installed, I made a quick decision...:)

Hey, that's fine with me! You'll have a blast with them. I'll be doing flaperons on my since the flaps are mainly for landing and take off. That also only requires 2 servos. Great work, Lars!:D

Hmm, flaperons sounds nice, will be interesting to see how it turns out. It might happen that I will activate flaps after a few flights...

  10. I can't believe how you fly that guy without ailerons, my hat is off to you. ;)

Just like the good old days, Jeff:) I learned to fly trainers like this one, out of balsa, with only rud and elevator. Teacher disabled aileron channel...

What is the wing loading of the plane?

    Depends on your weight!

Some pictures of my first HL modification. Functioning ailerons. Flaps are prepared with hinges and a flapservo can easily be added. Will glue them at 30 degrees and see how it goes...

No clue... But its weight without ailerons = 11,3oz. and with aileron servo mounted = 12.5oz. with a 800mAh 3s.

Yes, and necessary when the T motor is so weak.

...It seems that I have to cancel the test flight tonight, the sun soon below horizon Sunset in Vanersborg 7:47 PM and still windy:(
