You will have the latest file if you downloaded from the website, no need to download again.

  8. Ok, so I have finally started my build...
I think the fuselage is going to go together very quickly!

I like how you left the doors on. I was tempted to do the same thing and mount the tail servos in there.

I also used 5g servos on my second build without issue.

  12. That is just temporary Tom...
If I dont like it later, I am going to remove it..

  13. Could you guys click a picture of wing showing where are the ailerons and flaps attached - top or bottom wing?

No problem, the outer portion of the aileron will attach to the top part or the airfoil where the under camber is.

...or you can lay the servos flat too.

  18. Ok, so the wing is done so far...
I built the wing the way I always have with MPF, i.e. fold over instead of cut and glue the top and bottom... That way you get a contiguous airfoil (without any seam at LE)...

To do that first I creased the score lines with a 4mm CF rod.

Then I made deep bevel cuts on both top and bottom plates [IMG]

Next, I put a piece of tape on other side of the wing fold/bevel cuts and installed servos/routed wires...

At this point I folded the wing over back and forth to bend the foam and form the airfoil shape...

Then I put foam-tac in the following areas:

    1) Flip over the wing and add foam-tac on beveled surfaces

    2) Added glue on foam spar and ribs

    3) Ran a bead of glue to the edge of top wing where it joins with the bottom wing plate

Fold over the wing, release and stick it back and it will hold!

Here are a couple of pictures where hopefully you'll be able to zoom in (click on picture) and see the contiguous airfoil which looks fantastic!

  19. Yes, I did see that and I liked it a lot but wont work with the HS5055MG servos I am using for flaps...
The arms are too short on it...

Interesting...the same fold used with the ft explorer wing. It honestly does make for a very nice leading edge too btw.

Of that box of warped depron I received I can actually fold a 180° bend in one side. The other side simply cracks. I was considering this same fold over using that odd foam.
