So I was totally over thinking the difficulty of mounting the motor. It was pretty easy and looks as straight as all the other's I've mounted. I should be finished in time for the windy and rainy weekend we're supposed to have.

OK, nice to see that some more are on the way out with this plane.:)
Very responsive to be a rear-mounted one, without TV.

Greg, The weight as it is right now without the TV unit just 18.50oz with a 1000mAh 3s, so it's quite light for its scale. The wingloading is going to be higher when on a 4s 2000 bat. together with the 3oz TV-unit. But even then a quite lightweight plane due to its size, just 24-25 oz.;)

Lars, mine painted with 1800 3s and zoom 450 motor, painted is 25 or do oz. I did a lot of modifications to it so the final prototype of a little heavier. But, you see how nicely it floats! Yours will be fine. A couple guys with the 100 percent scale planes at 30 oz are also getting good performance.

Yes Greg, it floats really great. I'm a big fan of BWB design, something I usually put on all my planes if it isn't on the plan from scratch. It adds lift and reduces drag.

Lars, it's been a crazy day today (service call in God forsaken new york city) and when Jay sent me a link to your video I had to wait until getting out before replying. Wow! I loved that flight! You could tell that, once you got comfortable with the feel of the rear mount, the stability of the plane gave you a ton of confidence. I found not too many rear mount planes have as much slow speed and low altitude control. This is exactly what we were looking for in this design and it is why we didn't release it for a couple years. Definitely reinforce the elevons for 4s speeds. The close proximity of the elevons to the wing does create some flutter. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for it! Great video!

You ...and the F-22 compliment one another very well.

    Nicely done Lars

Thanks Greg and thank you guys for the excellent job you both have put into it, so stable and well-balanced! The stock CG setting works just fine. Otherwise I always end up one or two inches further back, but here it feels unnecessary.
It literally slipped out of my hand without the slightest hint of any torque role! and performs very well without ailerons.

Unfortunately a windy weekend, so I stay indoors to get things done in the workshop.

Yes it does good when you have to use long piano wires.

Cheaper than using carbon tube also.

    2nd flight done.
Yes!:D The wind slowed down during the evening, so I took the chance for a second flight to try a heavier 1800mAh 3s battery, as well as the 6x4 MA three blade prop. Weight increased from 18.5 to 21.35oz. So far, NP!:)

    Video rendering in progress...

    Until then, some snapshots.
