Ya i seen it fly there was a beautiful looking plane i still haven't got to building mine only have it printed out. After printing it i haven't tiled it together yet. Kids started school and just got too busy i guess going to start it tomorrow.

No, not over-reactive. She's just angry. :) This is an Angry Bird! ... She likes the wind and different kinds of threats that pops up in front of her nose;)

Watching this start off I was thinking "what a trooper. He's got to fight traffic getting to the dock. Go snorting across a lake in a power boat. ...just to fly this plane".

    ....well NOT.

Greg is right in that it's a little bouncy in the wind but you flew it well.

I just got done cutting all the pieces out and I'm in the middle of trial fitting everything. The bottom half of the front fuselage vertical profile piece is taller than the sides of the air intake box forcing me to bend down the horizontal deck on the outside edges in order to attach along the top edges of the intake box. It forms a scooped contour towards the front of the plane that I think will prevent straight and level flight. Shouldn't the entire horizontal surface of the plane be as flat as possible? If so, should I just trim the bottom edge of the vertical piece until the deck sits flat? If you can't figure out which pieces I'm referring to, let me know and I'll send pictures when I get home from work. Thanks.

    BogusBandit56,
How do you like UHU Por? Do you use it exclusively, or do you use hot glue as well?

I love UHU POR and hot glue sniff both but only get any where with uhu. Just kidding I use uhu for lightness and hot glue if it needs to be stronger.

Yes, same here, for various purposes, CA, hot glue, HUH and white glue for wraping paper.

    Hello...:D

:( Actually, almost calm, but ...

It ran into the power line..
    fortunately it survived.
    But not so long..
the battery went off some minutes later.

You are going to have to move that powerline.

There's a lot of history surrounding this very same power line. They go way back you know.

You can call the grid provider and they will provide those plastic marker domes over that span of line. That's a common thing around here where the fly crop dusters once, twice a year.

If nothing else it could make for a good visual marker at a glance.

It should make it a lot easier for you hit it if you do that.
