Okay it's finished. Paint, detail and sealer......ain't she pretty.

This ironically does line up well with a prince purple dedication thing too ?

Finally I can put some hardware on her and all I'll need is to do is ... name her.

I did change up the rudder again. I wanted more bite and a more linear bite against the tail rudder. Then i set the hinge to vertical to pull out some of that roll on a tail kick. [IMG]

I opted out for missiles on this build and went ahead and run the leading edge all the way out to the end of the wing tip.

The equipment cavity. I like to make the complete right angle glue joint before opening the bay access door and hinge. It makes for much tighter intersections to help limit some of that flex.

    Yeah I hear ya ..
All this homage paid to the man over the media and I could only recognize a couple of his hits....and even then,

... that was most likely because I was listening to someone else's radio selection at work.

He was a talent...yes and now that too is gone.

Yes, and the 80s still seems so close... Who's next in line among them ...

After a few months of interruption, my F16 MK II is flying again. I have fine tuned her CG and prop angle with some thin washers, flies like a charm, slow or fast, easy to launch and land, stable in the wind.

    Brilliant and clever design.

    Thanks and cheers.

    Totally agree!

I finally got mine fixed and back in the air. My rx came loose and got sucked through the prop.
Crashed and snapped the nose off. After some prodding from TomMonton and FED50 I built a new nose and added some gussets and now it is all good.
Flew it 4 times in the last 2 days - what a jet!

My F16 MKII begins to suffer from "metal fatigue" after many flights and some rough landings.

Had to glue again lower nacelle, and reinforce with tape a crack in a wing. Few minutes work and airworthy again.

    Cheers.

If you are experiencing excessive wing rocking in high alpha, try moving you CG forward a little. That often smooths it right out.

That could help, and as icsbpowell says, moving cg forward too. But the problem with the f16 design as a midmount parkjet is that the prop wash is split by the single stabilizer and that turbulence causes a lot of the wing rock. Not much we could do about that but we tried to minimize it. Let me OKs great though, crypticink369!
