    Hello,

This is my second build, 330 grs without battery, better built than my F18 especially moving surfaces, went to top mounted servos.

Build was really easy, was unable to maiden it last week due to strong winds, hope it will be possible soon.

My first plane the F18 V3 impressed so much the members of the club last week (first build, first RC flight and plane landed safely!) that they have already constructed another one, and that more foamies are on build (Depron order was launched by the club).

    Have fun flying.

    Cheers. DSC_2474_01.JPG

O'yes Greg, it's fun to throw around a 12 oz plane close to the ground. The field works as an excellent shock absorber if it would crash.;)

Highlights from flying with lcsbpowell today... formation style. Enjoy!!

P.S. - Greg, Jay... you guys hit this one out of the park!! If someone's looking for a super aerobatic, scale looking parkjet that can be built in a few hrs, this is THE ONE. Loving it!!!

You should have seen the attention it got in the pits. When we did manage to get in close formation, it was a complete rush! Side by side high alpha looked like a couple hummingbirds buzzing around.

Ooops battery came loose and slid backwards during the flight.
It could have gone up in flames ... only half an inch from the disaster.:D !

Nice flying. I have had a battery fall out before. When are you going to put two motors on it?

I am not sure I will do it, this 80 scale seems to be on the low side ... I might build a new one. In a larger scale, I think the wing load will be too high on this small one.;)

Ha! ;) There are always ways to make it more complicated than what is necessary, even in the original size.

If you have a 7 channel radio, it will work.

Dan any paint job looks amazing at 100+ yards out. I find myself tracking the siluette of the plane anyway.
