Wonderful, thank you Greg for the demonstration of a great good looking aircraft, with many possibilities, advanced setup or not.

Great job Greg she is gorgeous. You just can't go wrong with a blue angels scheme. It just looks great in the air and gives great visibility. The full flying elevons make it looks so scale thanks for the pics and vid

The time has come for the release of the FRCFoamies F/A - 18 Hornet! Unfortunately that time is tomorrow, haha. We've dotted the i's and crossed the t's and the plane really looks and feels so good. It can fly light and simple with elevons and ailerons (elevons only doesn't work without tv) or load up the servos and go for the gold with leading edge slats, flaps, spoilerons and vtails! It really doesn't care. Super smooth! I'm at 24 oz fully loaded. Here is a little taste of the:
    FRCFoamies F/A-18 Hornet:

Check into frcfoamies.com tomorrow for our release! And, we will be starting a new thread over in the Vendor board once the plans go live!

So far, the answer is yes, Dan, I will have it! Maybe I won't fly it until then just to be sure, 'cause as soon as I launch I just want to fly it fast!

  10. I have 2 weeks next month with no wife, I will be building this one for sure...

cuz there's no tooling around, full stick and full throws all the way and always on 4s!

Great BJ! I see you have the right priorities. Ditch the wife and build planes! You will love the speed of this. I'm limiting myself because of the full elevons. Don't want them to rip off! But with the standard elevons you won't have to hold back!

Cutting has commenced! Using MPF means I have to do the main wing plate in halves :( But that's what foam tac and drywall tape are for B-)

From what I saw you doin in your demo vid, Greg, it didn't look like the slow stuff was at a significantly higher angle of attack... so I'm gonna skip on rudders and do 4x4 aileron/elevon setup :)
