Love that, Jay! Smooth as silk! The inverted stuff is nice to see. The plane looks better inverted on some ways, haha. Great catch!

    Nice save!

Are those foam tac + fiberglass hinges? Do you put the tape on top and bottom, or just one side? I've been experimenting with them, but I didn't know if tape on both sides would be too stiff. I put fiberglass on top, and regular hinge tape on the bottom as a backup.

Now that ive got a bit time not doing school work today, i decided to fix my f-15. My last flight my elevon started to come loose but no damage to the airframe, landed safely. Im reading a book by Dale Brown called "day of the cheetah" and its about a mind controlled plane taken by a russian spy and has to be tracked and destroyed by a modified f-15. It a good book and i highly recommend it. But ever since i read this book a few years ago, ive always want to create cheetah, the f-15. And now i have. Ive added giant canards to the sides of intakes and added ailerons ( previously only elevons). I have switches to make them act as lerx or active canards. I also have a switch to make them just come down by themselves. In the photos i have the throws super high just to show it off but when i fly ill have them lower. i pulled some sloppy cobras on my last flight and hopefully this will help make them a little cleaner. Heres the video of it.

Super easy to mod for the canards. Only real problem was getting the servo in the fuse to hide it from view. I eventually just put it on the outside for the ease of it. On my next build, if this works, ill put them on before i do the fuse section. But the canards are really strong. I have carbon through the canard and then theyre glued to a fiberglass rod going through the plane. And i found out, hog glue doesn't stick to tape very well. My hot glue hinges for my elevators were less than great at that point. Again, dt foam im done with
