it's a beautiful area and it's a good place to use as a base for going farther afield as well. we like to go all over the country and seeing new places, where are you now?

I'm in Northern Ireland now. Much the same as Scotland only everything's a lot closer

F1, That just might have been the problem. I am going to start building number 2 next week and I will make sure to cover all my bases with all the great suggestions.

Tom, we are always at work and some of our planes never meet the light of day. Warbirds are always an option!

Trying out the big Mosquito on 4s.
Quite a considerable decrease in power (750w, 56A) compared to the 3s setup (945w, 89A) but it had a silly amount of acceleration! Had to hold it pretty tightly for this ground run.

What do you think? I love the sound of it but do you think it'll fly ok?

Very nice, CeeKay! Good to see you experimenting with the power system set up. My guess is better speed, less thrust?

    Thanks Greg.
I think so. I did a quick taxi test at 10% throttle and it shot off like a racing car (scared the life out of the dog but it serves her right for being so inquisitive).

The power was never a problem on 3s and I never ran the motors at max power in flight so it should be interesting to see how it handles. The flight time should go up to around 9+ minutes with the lower power consumption.

I'll give it a try and keep you posted.

Weather has been terrible here I'm afraid. Not a hope of flying this weekend either. I'll post updates as soon as I get her airborne

Thought you guys might like to see the big Mosquito being put through its paces. This is from a few weeks ago as the weather has been unsuitable for flying for the last month.

Music is coming from the Taranis (much to the amusement of the others at the field) :)

Doh! He cut away just before the landing! Wow, very nice flight, CeeKay! Love the look of the Mossie and at that size it flies even more scale. Thank you for posting!
