Still playing with a few ideas but I think I'm going to go for the turnigy 2826 1400kv to start with then go from there.

  4. Goody, I think I have 4 new ones of those. I like that motor, for the combat planes runs really good and spinning a 10X5 APC electric prop and if you want more thrust use their 10X5 Sport or Gas prop at the cost of 2 extra amps.

Oh it's a big one alright! Hey Jay, you been working out or something? That Lancaster fuselage is wider than you!

8" props max on this bird, I went by the specs on hobbyking and 8" on 3s is about right with a 3 blade prop. What do you think?

Here she is, ready to go whenever my free time matches up with the weather! Mixed in differential thrust and elevons on the elevator for added roll authority if needed.

    I'll take it !!

She looks amazing scale is what I've noticed. Squirt on some color and weathering it should look authentic and difficult to actually tell it's just a foamie.

    Well done Jay.

Wing attachment done, just need to add a small plate on the outside to strengthen the outside. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
