I used hot glue on my 1st couple planes but found the glue starting to melt from the heat of the motor on some hot august nights. I still have a mjv3 with hot glue sucked into the bearing. I'll send you home with a couple bottles Jay!

alpha jet done but i may need bigger battery, a 3s 1600 all the way forward doesn't quite get cg right. had to tape washers to the nose(5). may need to go buy some weights. because i don't want battery in nose having trouble getting to it

  7. the only battery I ever use is my 1300man 3s and it flies great. U can see it on my YouTube as well as F1's. He flew it at our mini fly-in

The CG is not critical for crazy flying, but it is to minimize wing rock in high alpha. I always use 2200 for rock solid stability.

  15. that look exactly like my setup and with the 1300mag I can almost land hands off. I personally don't like to fly with anything heavier than an 1800nah. Feels too heavy to me and I have almost no ring rock whatso ever unroll it gets almost vertical

well wind picked up and got real gusty, but what the hell lets maiden her, flew amazing, 2 full batterys, but 1 rough landing, 20 plus mph gust, rough to settle her in nice and smooth. she will be fixed and ready by the morning
