Bryce, you are truly an evil man :-! Haha!
This is definitely the toughest plane I've flown and I tested it well! Almost as tough as the hawk sky, I would say. The rolls and banking staffing runs are my favorite maneuvers. Inverted was good you say? Excellent! Can't wait to see video on Sunday. Good luck flying tomorrow!

    Yeah. Inverted was awesome:cool:.

Got to get repairs done so I can fly it tomorrow before I can even think about video :). Hopefully I can get started soon, but the honey do list has piled up and....I'm almost done with the list so that I can start repairs shortly. May be a late night.

    Videos Coming, but...not yet:oops:

Wow that is awesome that it survived a crash like that! Looking forward to the video.

They designed this one to be tough. It is a scale model after all :p The real A10 keeps on flying in spite of incredible battle damage too. I guess Jay and Greg wanted this one to be as much like the real thing as possible!

A-10 is ready to fly again. I still can't believe how tough this thing is:cool:. It truly amazed me that it was still in one piece after my full throttle crash/cartwheel! :)

Most of the cartwheel was missed on video, but slowing the video down I was able to capture a couple of photos from the video mid cartwheel - just before coming to rest. Here are a couple of action shots as a teaser for the video to come :p

Here is the maiden video, as promised. What a great airplane.

A somewhat controlled aborted initial launch, followed by a dead battery and a deadstick landing about 1 minute into the maiden flight made for a rocky start. A good battery made all the difference, until...I got a little to aggressive and pilot error resulted in a pretty hard full throttle cartwheel to end the celebration.

30 minutes of repair work to the throttle mount and horizontal stabilizer yielded 7 flights the following day :):D

Next up the De Havilland Mosquito:rolleyes:

Looks like I am going to have to redo the video without music if it is blocked in the U.K. (where Jay - the designer lives), but I can't do it tonight as I get up for work at 3:30 a.m. and have got to get some sleep.

Jay, Check your e-mail. I sent you a link where you can download the video directly from my "Dropbox" folder to your computer without using Youtube. It will probably be an hour or so before it has uploaded from my computer to my "Dropbox" folder.

Otherwise, I'll try to get the video redone tomorrow without music.

I guess I'm a little late! I just downloaded it and sent it to Jay too! Haha. Great flight, Bryce! with those mountains in the background it almost looked like a real a10 flying strafing runs in Afghanistan! Except for the playground. Haha! Beautiful looking plane and beautiful flight! Nice family pictures too- I love it! A10 warthog maiden flight that's a whole family affair. Nice inverted flying too. very stable set up you have. Thanks for poosting Bryce!

Very nice Bryce! That's a great looking paint job. I can see the difference a couple of ounces makes. Mine won't go straight up like yours. I'm still enjoying it though. I had to re-glue the motor mount yesterday. Those 1/2 to 2/3 throttle launches don't always work out. :)

It is now blocked in the US. :-(

Scratch that - it was blocked on my tablet, but is playing from my laptop. Weird.
