Putting the finishing touches on another A10! This one was commissioned by JettaManDan, and I'll be delivering it to him, via FED50H, Saturday. This is the first a10 mk2 I've built from the final plans. I built the prototype which we modded, then Jay built the final version. I really am happy with how the final plan went together! All it needs is a custom paint scheme. And a little surprise for Dan....

Brilliant pics Greg! Looks like a brand new A10 reborn and relaunched in such an event atmosphere with the downlight

Ok, I'm delivering the a10 mk2 to Chip, FED50H because Dan will be out of town :( this weekend. You'd think he would put his family vacation on hold for this, but some people have their priorities a little mixed up.
    Here's the FRC JMD A10 mk 2!

Thank you! Dan requested the colors for contrast. Jay sent me the Canon courtesy of one of our frcfoamies friends in the UK who 3d printed it. Hope it flies!

Me too! With careful planning I am able to get cg with a 2200 which brings weight to about 28 oz with 33 oz thrust. With the airfoil wing, Dan should have a pretty nimble flier there.

Haha, I've had it long enough! I started this 3 months ago and was distracted by family visits, graduations, vacations. Dan's been very patient.

Love it, that unmistakable Warthog "face" with gun and everything. Someone should make a sound box for that awesome combination of the engines and gun. :D

Got up to the flying club and what do I find! An A10 mk2 a Su37 mk2 and I had the mig 2.88 with me. Here is a video of all three flying. So cool to see them all together that are not all built by me!

It took longer than expected so I had to put the extra effort into it. I used all depron, foam tac and a lot of fiberglass along the bottom and stress points in the tail and it came in lighter than my first mk2. Looked great, Dan, and great flying!

Heres my contribution, with twin EDFs, almost ready to go.

All up weight so far 1003g or 35oz.

They are 45mm fans, 8,000kv motors, thrust to weight is about one to one, and I have a 3S 4000 in the nose.

C of G is spot on.

In fact, I needed the elevator servos at the back to balance it.
