Well then I'll have to learn those! But not with this plane! The single servo really works well on the edge. Once I get to that level I'll have to add a 4th servo!

ok she's all cut out and now i'm rethinking my reinforcing, i have 3mm carbon rod but may get the 6mm x 1mm and do both wings and body with it. hummmm and elevator

The fuselage usually gets the side reinforcing uploadfromtaptalk1362867487427.jpg
And many times only one side is enough. It keeps the twisting to a minimum. The thin cf strip will do just fine on each wing. Better than the rod I have in mine.

ok well i found 2.5mm carbon rod for elevator and 1.4mm x 4.5mm carbon strip's for the wings. i think that will work out fine, what do you think. i also have plenty of 3.2mm carbon rods if you think that will be better for wings and elevator

i think i'll finish her up but will wait a few weeks till i get my 9x receiver, all ready have a micro receiver for the 9x. the 9x i'll be able to tone down the controls for maiden, my current receiver can not tone anything down. also i'm thinking about lite weight landing gear i miss take offs and landings.

  15. Where did you get a micro rx for the 9x?

You allready mentioned these on page 2.

These are only three channel?! So that's throttle, elevator and aelerons.. So no rudder?

They would be nice for a plane which gets setup elevons only.. But a 3D plane with some mixes I read some posts earlier wil not be possible. Right?

Nice job, f4mnect! Today while cleaning up the shop area for building season I found a piece of laminated dollar tree foam I used for my mig 29 edf. Took off paper and super 77'd them together. Very light and stiff and about 8-9 mm thick. Would be perfect for my next beast! Just FYI, laminated dollar tree would need very little stiffening.
