Yes, lots! Haha! It's stiffer than epp though. If it was me, I would use 6mm by 1mm cf strips, slice each wing and slip the strips into the slit using foam tac to keep them in place. My edge has a thin ply strip in the wing and it's light and rigid.
    Then the typical fuselage bracing.
Finally the cross brace between fuselage and top wing.

I have the plane ready to go. I painted it in the "beast" paint scheme and am not happy with it. The epp is so porous that the colors don't pop. Oh well, I'll have to make another one day. I diluted the acrylic paint with windex and as of now it added 1 oz of weight. That brings it to 10 oz with 500 mah 2s. Once it dries it could be less. Looking forward to flying it!

Thanks Jeriah, epp is light, porous and rough so you can go over the same spot a few times and still not gave a good coat. But that's ok with this plane since I don't want to add weight. I weighed it this morning and after the paint/windex mix dried I lost 1/2 oz. So I'm down to 10 oz from 10.5. Makes me happier. That means all that painting added only 1/2 oz. I guess it's worth it to use windex but it did give a purple hugh to the cherry red paint. Looks kind of calm out this morning.....

Done! Wow, amazing stability and maneuverability from such a slow flying floater! Can you tell I'm new to this? Batteries need charging then I'll go out again. Video tonight. You can knife edge with little or no rudder input! Love the feel of the biplane!

  18. can't say you will never use spoilerons, they can be very helpful to help learn the harrier. And a couple other complex moves as well

  20. it's good to use a little spoilerons when doing elevators and harrier's. Yes they can be done without spoilerons. But it's much cleaner with them. But don't mix the elevator with the spoilerons. Just put them on a switch of their own
