If you can find where this was said we'll make it happen. Any upgrades to the V3s are free for folks with the V3 package, we did end up doing upgrades to the PDFs that were added at no cost.

For completely new designs like the V4s, we sell a new package.

When we make minor improvements to the existing jets you've already purchased you get those upgrades for free, when we take the time to design completely new jets they are placed in a new package that is separate from the old one.

Ha that's perfect! I use to fly with nothing but fan fold foam, it works great for "in the moment" fixes to just get in the air.

Get well soon dude! Maybe you can bring a lounge chair to the field and fly from that!

Do we not need to fill in the gap between the slats and the wing?

Are you referring to the Fronterons and wing? You can fill it I'm sure it will strengthen the Fronterons. It's not a moving part, so I say go for it. I was thinking about filling mine in. But either way works mine are not filled at the moment.

    Hey so nice!
I got some highlights on verticals now and am really liking how it stands out in the air.
I think you'll like how well that paint job there helps with orientation.
    So looks and works good!

And what float plane is that there in the background (the big one on its back)?
It looks like a pretty capable set up, curious to what it is.

You got some power on that one Rob!
When you had it slow and low there you about touched the grass and then blasted out of there.
Just thinking about some of your first videos last year and how good you've gotten so fast.
Very cool to see man, thanks for posting.

I've actually tired that and would say filing in the gap would be mostly (99%) for looks.
Can't notice and flight difference in having it or not.
Since the fronteron on this one is "fixed" in its stock set up, it would be nice to fill the gap if you got a few grams to spare, ya know.

Beautiful flight, Rob! Looks like the f18v4 retains the v3's vertical performance! You got some nice hover there! It did look a lot smoother now with the sanding.

Thanks, that's the Focal Price 2700kv I love that motor. It always gets me out of trouble:D
Ya since that first successful flight with my First RCPOWERS.COM plane I've not picked up my Phoenix 4 simulator just been enjoying flying for real. Wouldn't been able to get far in this hobby if it wasn't for RCPOWERS plans. Makes everything easy along with these Forums.
    Thanks,

Built and flew both the M -29 v4 and the F-18 v4, the M-29 is sweet, still sorting out the F-18, very surprised at how far back the battery is for it to balance.

What flap and spoileron angles are y'all using on the F-18?
