Yeah, definitely a simple paint job will do the trick. Most of mine stay white because I want to maiden them before painting them, but I end up having too much fun and fly it instead of paint it. haha

On another note, this image is an RC turbine model. The square on the top is for accessing the turbines, instead of being a speedbrake like the real a/c. Some day, I'm want to build a large turbine F-15, that's my dream build!

Same here, not too much paintjob until I know if it flies.
Yes a RC turbine jet would be nice!:)

Once I shut up and took the hat cam off, I had some serious fun with this plane. So fun.

Kudos man! I know if I flew there I would have found every tree and post! Nice.

RumbleRC, Good reinforcements there! Really nice flight too. A lot of what you may be feeling is lower wing loading. A 2 oz reduction in weight from a smaller battery and esc is about 10% of the total plane weight! That's a big deal for these planes. I am a big proponent of lowering wing loading as much as possible because it is great for livening up the plane and give you the kind of excellent stability you have now. Do you know where you are with weight?
Also, every plane needs a little uptrim especially if you're using kf2 airfoil. The lift is generated just behind the step so if the lift is "pulling up" just behind the step, it will feel like the nose is dropping. Good job being the first! That used to be me when I was younger ;)

Okay, so for you who want a simple paint scheme, good visibility, and historical accuracy for your Eagles, how about this prototype paint? (Some of the schemes are close to this one already--just get some spray paint and go!)

I would do this paint scheme, from the Fresno Air National Guard.

Just wondering, that Section that connects the whole tail to the rest of the plane looks awefully narrow. I know the F-15 can take a beating in real life but don't you fear it might be a tad more difficult to fly with the elevons and rudders gone? :)
