Well, LE slats are the latest "fashion" instead of KFA. The real one has not slats, but I don't think it will affect the plane's flight characteristics negatively. I need all the extra lift I can get out of it, when it's time to add more powerful powertrains.:)

    "Building building building..."

Yeah! Must be tough to build three at the same time... can't wait for the videos, all three of them!
    Good Luck!:)

Airflow, good looking airplane and really light! Love the Sukhoi verticals . . . "You will be assimilated--resistance is futile."
Can't wait to hear how it flies.

Haha.;) Yes I know, will be assimilated... Do you know about my history here:)? I'm probably the worst:eek: SU addict here on the forum... So I must try to get over it!:(

1080pHD. Here is my personal favorite, the Su-37XL Quattro Diff-thrust.

    720pHD. And my 2nd PF The Su-30 Twin Diff-thrust.

  6. Started the build for the F15 V5. By the end of the day all the foam work should be done. 20160603_190830.jpg

  8. Very Cool, But now that you have 3 slots I think you should have 3 motors!!!!!!!!
    ;)

An excellent idea, Jeff! I have already tested it on my Su-30:) 3 TGY 2200kv motors +4s, a wonderful sound!:D:cool:

    3 Motors:)

o_O what kind of trend is that now, placing 25 engines on one plane? :D Do you intend pulling sail planes after you with that kind of rig? :D

  11. That is cool but like you said I think it performs better with just the 2, the extra weight takes away from the performance. But still cool. :)

  12. Well mainly all together, now I have to wait for the glue to cure. Hmmm, cut out the Mig29 or the SU-35 next ??? 20160604_074929.jpg 20160604_074936.jpg 20160604_074945.jpg

Absolutely! I like to test limits,:D but otherwise it was a complete waste of time ...

  16. If you don't try it you will never know but it's cool how you modified it so you can switch back from 1 to 2 motor setups.

So true, now I know something I did not know before! But it also takes a lot of time to build, a lot of preparatory work to do before the parts can be joined together.
But it also takes time to build more planes of the same type with one or more motors,. than building an "all in one" aircraft.

how much does the f15 whey without the electronics ?
I only have access to 5mm Depron foam in India :/ another option is 8mm.
Although my su - 27 turned out pretty good with 5mm foam i would like to build my next one bit more sturdy.
Do you think 8mm depron foam will make the plane really bulky ? can it be solved by adding a 2700 kv motor etc ?

Just random ideas in my head. Has anyone here tried building with 8mm depron before ? Would love to know your thoughts.
