Awesome Jay! You, the F117 and Flint castle...perfect together! Its really cool to see something so technologically advanced flying around a 700 year old castle. Great flight!

Every time I try to buy this plan, I'm directed to a IP/Domain error. I see the site closing pages but that isn't until July 30th. I need this masterpiece in my life... please?

Flew the awesome f117 v3 a couple months back, flys so good, even if you launch it inverted.......

I'm looking to build one as well, I've already built (and crashed) several V1s and a V2. Any luck?

Just got the plans for this and going to build from DTFB with the paper on. I know this will be a little heavy but want to give it a shot. I can cut on the inside of the notches to adjust for the foam thickness and would like to try scoring on the inside of the foam. Will this work or will I need to alter dimensions?
    Thx!

You should be fine with just making the notches a little bigger....or, because of the pliableness (word, I dunno if that is correct) ...if the slots are long enough....just pinch the foam so it tapers in and insert it....I think once you start assembling....you will get it ....lil trial.and error....after all, it is foam...make it do what you want....

The notch thickness would work just fine if you do that. We always like to be encouraging here on RCPowers but the foam board with paper on it is almost twice the weight of just foam and you may find that the wing loading is just too much for the plane. Ask me how I know :( If you peruse the v2 thread you'll see I could not get the v2 to fly with the extra heavy foam board. Flew fine with depron, of course, so the paper definitely was not usable. Can you get dollar tree foam board and peel the paper off? That paper releases pretty easy and with proper reinforcement on the tail you should have a much better result.

Found another thread on this forum where a 6” square of depron weighed only 1g more than the same size square of DTFB paper on. I hate working with the stuff with paper off. An alternative may be to shrink the plans by ~17%. That will reduce my weight and have the benefit of shrinking the slots to the right size.
