Any help please on the F117 v3. Trying to fit on 20 x 30 dollar tree foam. Any suggestions on how to take the main bottom plate into two pieces? or?

You could try combining two foam sheets together. Check out this post on the main instructions page for how to: Foam Sheet Combining

Here's how I did mine and it worked great. See the piece up front I glued on? The fuselage strengthens it right there. 11329856_10205469728721328_799584593451917850_n.jpg

Here is a flight I did yesterday, getting more and more comfortable with this plane with every flight. I will probably always keep one in my fleet because it is so much fun to fly. I broke the servo the camera used to pan on because the velcro was way too strong, so the angle isn't that great in this video as it should be. I will install a new riser for it so you wil be able to see more down the nose of the plane and a better cockpit view. Should have brought the glue gun to the air field...

Hey guys, my retired F117 is hanging on the wall like a show piece and starring at me everyday to get her out for a flight, im going to reinstall electronics on it and fly. its in perfect shape :D

Problem is RCP does not write the CG Location on the manual in terms of how many cm's form the nose etc. I had marked the cg on my jet but cant find it anymore and i dont want to go to print shop just for this. Can someone quickly measure the cg location (how many cm from the nose tip) so i could avoid lot of hassle ?

    Thanks :)

  11. Do a tiled version of the plans , zoom into the right page and just print as a poster but check off "current view" so it only prints that page.

Put a rearward facing camera on my F-117 - enjoy the ride.

Haven't flown a rcpowers f117 since the v1, well I tell a lie, I flew gregs over in the states but my own was the v1. Really looking forward to flying this. Only took me 3 hours to cut out and assemble it!

Excellent, Jay! Your v1 videos were awesome and I even got to see the castle where you flew it! Will you take the V3 to the castle as well? I think this flies like a dream compared to the v1.
