I lowered the throws to 70% with dual rates. No expo so far but gonna try to set 20 - 30% tomorrow.

Making good progress on my build. Added some bright orange contrast trim to the black body to be able to track it. It's a 120% build to adjust for my high altitude home field (7,522 FASL).

    Installing electronics is next.

Yes, it's cut from a trim sheet, have a few wrinkles to smooth out yet. Using the wife's hair dryer for that.

Rammed her full throttle into the top of a tree luckily some one offered to climb up n bring her down. Nothing major, nose had a hard hit n got all bit soggy, applied some silicon glue + inserted a tooth pick straight in from top centre, glued in nicely, little touch up and ready to fly tomorrow

Does this take the full 2 sheets? Or will 1 1/2 be able to manage? I could always use cheaper foam for the little parts.

Mine flew great until I did a loop and one of the servos came loose. Very depressing but fixable, just a good nose job.

if you need to cut out and replace a new nose along with the nose part from the wingplate, what i did was insert a tooth pick on both the sides of foam with some glue, that is giving extra strength to my nose. :)

Lesson from Yesterdays flying. Don't fly too far from sight, eyes always on the plane, specially when its a black stealth jet.

Although i fixed it and ready for tomorrow's flight

Almost planted it into the ground few times prior to putting on the blaze orange markings. It can be very difficult to track i found out.

  14. The black looks cool but when its 100 yards away it's just a black silhouette anyways, almost doesn't matter what color it is. :)

Had to reinforce my vertical stabilizers after busting them off twice after bad launches. I have a tendency to roll my wrist left on launch that put the plane in an immediate roll and drill it into the ground inverted.

At first, I didn't even know that the prop struck my arm, until I noticed blood all over my hand.Don't know why it happened this time.Probably 30 flights on it with no problems.Cut was about half inch deep and six inches long.....twelve staples to close it up.
