I love that 7 stator NTM motor, can also handle a 6X4 or the MAS 6x4-3 blade with a 5s battery. Max amp then, around maximum 60A. 60oz of thrust.

Thanks for this website DavePowers. I never had much success until I found rcpowers.com and r/c flying has never been this enjoyable and stress free

Really nice review. I ordered su-27 yesterday and then stumbled upon this, Su-27 will be my first build. Few thoughts
    1) F 117 is much smaller in size, and also for some reason feels easier to build then the bigger su-27
    2) all the videos i saw on youtube it looks very easy to fly aswell with just 3ch set up.
    3) Since its smaller in size the damage upon crash would be much lesser than a big plane.
    4) Do you think me as a beginner should build F-117 v3 first and develop my skills on it before building the bigger plane, is it harder to fly than su-27 ?
Would love to know your thoughts, And Dave's aswell if he is reading this. :)

    Thanks!!

However; you must hold the can about 3 feet (1M) away from the foam. This allows the accelerant to evaporate so it doesn't melt your foam.

Definitely build the SU-27 first. That will be a great trainer plane for you.
After you've crashed and rebuilt that a few times, then move on to the F-117.

Yeah already on it. 90% done, now i have to wait for the electronics to arrive. And hopefully if i dont crash it will post media here. Thanks for your reply, frankly f117 looks so sick, i can't wait to build it already haha, but will take your advice n take my time, will train on su-27 first. :)

  9. You can always start on your 2nd & 3rd plane that way there is no delay for the next attempt. :D

This is my strategy as well... when its not flying weather its building weather.

Hello Dave & Shannon & experts,
Gearing up for my next build, ordering parts n stuff, quick question,
we only have 5mm depron or 8mm, would it hurt if i make just the wingplate out of 8mm depron ?

I've been through all posts here and saw the wing breaking problem, and im guessing if i use 8mm for just the wingplate & rest with regular 5mm i would still end up in same weight roughly ? The field where i fly is pretty rough, this could also give extra strength for landing etc. Although i do tape the bottom with Fibreglass tape.. Waiting for inputs, Thanks :)

Maiden = Success, Flew out of my hand so easy, cuts through air like an arrow & simply floats when you cut out the motor.CG was spot on. So so sensitive on the controls, i had to put down dual rates to 50% Just looking at this beauty gives me chills. i am very glad i built this, only after the sick paint work i am too scared to fly it haha. Got down from my car to show this to a friend and literally 2 cars on the other side of the road stopped to ask what is that thing ? :D
RCP i am speechless.. Most of all, such a fun plane to fly.. Amazing job Dave, Shannon & Team.
