Kf is Referring to KFm airfoils, a stepped airfoil design that works really well at low speeds.

As far as your motor goes, maybe? Hard to say without any info, did it come from a specific ARF model or something?

wow.thanks for the info...the motor came as part of a kit for a 6mm depron plane.im new to all this so i would like to keep costs down at this stage.and swap all electrics and motor from that plane to this plane.

@ppserge983: Never be afraid to experiment with parts you have laying around! If it doesn't work, you will learn something and if it does work you'll learn even more.

In both cases, it's always worth sharing your experiments with the community and thus amplify the effect of the that learning. You'd be surprised how many great ideas appear from guys just trying out stuff with old parts they had laying around...

Sharing/publishing even bad ideas is always a GOOD IDEA!

    Ciao,
    Bob

hi im from the uk and very new to rc planes.i brought my first ebay foam plane kit about 10 days ago.and smashed it up a lot.then saw rcpower planes and wanted to have a go.so i used all the electronics from that plane.also i only had a 5x5 propeller.and found that the reason i couldnt get this plane to fly.i smashed the front off it..soon as i got a 6x4.it flow itself..only 1 slight problem im having is it turns left better than it does right.any ideas?also i added carbon to the rear where i found it flexed and the snapped off.spec

I see in your picture, you got an F-22 with an EDF in it?
What kind of things have you flown before?

    Hey that looks really good!
    Great build, very solid!
Is the prop on backwards? The numbers should be facing "towards the front"
Can you post a picture of the motor/prop close up please?

ive checked and the number on the pro are facing toward the front of the plane.

i have noticed one of my control horns is 3mm back than the otherside.that might be the reason for turning better one way..still flys great tho

its not 100% dialed in yet.as i need to move my right control horn...but it still flys great.it just turnes left better than it does right, its flys very level...its like shooting a arrow across the sky..
i showed the plane off to another rc chap...he said it will never fly..he was wrong

    Hey very cool!
I always like the 2200kv motors because they spin a 6x4 prop which is my best all around prop for parkjets.
